Lead-Safe Renovation Certifications
Kudos to both Mike Farrenkopf and Jonathan Neely who join Robert Raskin in this important safety requirement for our industry. This education certification is required for contractors remodeling structures built before 1978 by the US EPA and Ohio Revised Code.
Common renovation, repair, and painting activities that disturb lead-based paint (like sanding, cutting, replacing windows, etc.) can create hazardous lead dust and chips which can be harmful to our clients, their families and our workers. As contractors renovating residential homes, we play a critical role in helping to prevent lead exposure. Our Team of experienced professionals can test for the presence for lead and if found will prep a jobsite and follow all lead-safe work practices. These steps can prevent lead hazards in our clients' homes.
Beware, all home repairs can create even a small amount of lead dust are enough to poison your child and put your family at risk. For more information, read EPA's guide that describes why you should hire a lead-safe renovator.
